Bathroom Sink Aquarium May Not Be the Best Place to Show Off Your Fish

COOL!!!
clipped from gizmodo.com
Why put your very expensive aquarium out in the living room where everyone can see it? That's just silly. What you should do is stick it in the backroom so you can admire it while you're sitting on the toilet or brushing your teeth. That makes much more sense! Especially for $4,700, which is how much this ridiculous aquarium sink costs. You can open it up on either side under the soap dish, which, if it's anything like my bathroom sink, will be coated with dried soap, toothpaste and spittle just waiting to fall in and kill your poor unsuspecting aquatic life. uit eten: Peper & Zout

Ferrari V4 Motorcycle Concept: If Tron Were a City in Italy

clipped from gizmodo.com
We try not to tease you with concepts too often, but this Ferrari V4 superbike by Israeli industrial designer Amir Glinik is just too beautiful to pass up. Packed with a modified engine from a Ferrari Enzo, hand controls from a F-16 fighter jet and buttons from a Formula 1 race car, there's not much in the world of badass that hasn't been centrifuged into the design. Under the hood:
"As far as how fast it goes and how much the bike would cost, we can only speculate about very big numbers in both cases," Glinik says. Cold, Glinik. Cold. [Industrial & Art via Luxist]

Bentley Jewelry and Watch Safes

Exclusivity is synonymous with the Bentley brand and hence why they’ve only built 200 of each of these safes. Funny enough, the specs read like a car: alarm, GPS, 10 interior leather hides, Bentley exterior colors and 3 wood veneer wood panels to choose from. The Continental safe is designed to secure your precious jewels, while the Arnage is specifically constructed for watches with built-in watch winders.

Audi Travolution Project Predicts Red Traffic Lights

audi travolution

The Travolution system, co-developed by Audi and traffic management experts, informs the driver of the time remaining until a red light turns green. It then calculates and displays the speed the car must maintain in order to pass through without braking.

The project is currently being developed in Germany so we’re pretty much out of luck. However, there is an alternative, rather sophisticated system in the States called the “yellow light”. When you spot this elusive signal, simply slam on the accelerator and you’ll pass through just fine (abort if you see any flashing red and blue).

Skybar Mechanical Wine Dispenser is a Shade Classier Than a Box of Franzia

clipped from gizmodo.com
For serious connoisseurs, the preservation of wine is far more important that the stigma surrounding bottle caps or, in this case, dispensing your wine like a condiment at a restaurant. The Skybar features a precise temperature control and vacuum system to keep your wine tasting its best for up to 10 days. The pouring spout also delivers wine directly into your glass without disturbing any sediment—which means there is no need for a decanter. I've actually seen similar systems set up in wine bars and they seem to be quite effective. However, the $1000 price tag may be a bit of a sticking point.
